Wrapped In Love Blanket Drive

Join us February 5th from 12noon - 4pm

We are collecting new, unused blankets to give to pediatric and young adult patients at University Hospital currently undergoing treatment. Warm, cuddly blankets are needed. The patients love sherpa lined, fleece and soft, plush, fluffy, warm, cozy thick blankets.

Please remember, the patients ages are birth to 25 years old. We would like to particularly focus on the teens and young adults.

University Hospital is also the county hospital for our area, a lot of patients are low income with very little resources. Most do not have insurance or adequate insurance. These blankets/throws will come in handy during long infusion treatment sessions. These sessions can last anywhere from 1-5 hours, depending on the staffing and availability of necessary medication/blood.

We will be at Chicken N Pickle - San Antonio on February 5th from 12noon - 4pm collecting blankets. Join us for an afternoon of fellowship, fun and service to others. If you are unable to attend, you can donate online to purchase a blanket. Thank you for your generosity!
